Please read these Terms and Conditions as they are the basis of our agreement and govern the use of this website.

Products

All products are manufactured in the U.K. in accordance with European Standards governing the manufacture and supply of Medical Products. We are registered with the Medical Devices Agency in London, an approved body, as manufacturers of Class 1 Medical Devices. We cannot guarantee to comply with specifications for Medical Devices in any country that does not subscribe to European Standards. Purchasers are responsible for checking any current legislation within their own country as to any appropriate standards and accept responsibility if our products do not comply.

In the interest of product improvement we reserve the right to change the specifications without notice.

Prices and VAT

All prices are accurate and shown in Sterling. Value Added Tax will be added to the total value of the order. A VAT exemption form is enclosed with every item we despatch and, on receipt of a valid, signed exemption form, we will refund all VAT paid on the order.

Distributors

Charnwood Healthcare Ltd reserve the right to refuse supply of bulk orders to a person or Company who we believe maybe reselling the products. In this event we will contact the purchaser to discuss appropriate distribution, quantity purchasing arrangements and product training. Customers buying for their own use should only purchase from our appointed retailers of ethical medical devices as these outlets will have been properly trained by us.

Sales promotions / special offers

Charnwood Healthcare reserves the right to offer special prices or other incentives at any time. These promotions are entirely at the Company's discretion and any time restrictions on the offer will not be negotiable.

Delivery

Currentlydeliveries to mainland UK is free. All other delivery destinations will be quoted on a per order basis. Please email us or telephone +44 (0)1202 620839 with your requirements and we can give you an exact delivery costing.

Despatch of all standard products is within two days of receipt of order. Special sizes or bespoke items will take about seven working days longer for despatch. Delivery time is 2 - 10 days from despatch depending on final destination and weight and size of the package/s. Should you suspect delay or non-arrival please contact us by email or telephone +44 (0)1202 620839. Despatch is advised by email and a reference number is quoted. Please provide this number in your communication to us to enable us to speedily trace the consignment. In the unlikely event that a package is lost in transit, we will provide replacement immediately.

Payment transactions

We accept payment via most major credit / debit cards and orders require positive sanction before despatch. Credit card transactions are fully encrypted and you can have full confidence in the privacy and security of any payments made to us via this website. All online credit card payments are handled using (a padlock or key will be visible, in different areas on Internet Explorer and Netscape browsers). We will not publish or otherwise provide any of your personal details to a third party for any reason. We, ourselves, may contact you with future offers or information regarding new products but if you do not wish to receive further communications you may easily un-subscribe. Should errors be made in providing us with correct card details despatch may be delayed. We will also accept cheques drawn in Sterling from a UK bank, made payable to Charnwood Healthcare Ltd. Orders paid by cheque may take longer to process.

Any orders placed with Charnwood Healthcare Ltd will be converted from GBP (British Pounds) into your currency by your credit card company when they process the transaction. Please remember that currency rates change all the time and may differ to the rate when your transaction is processed by YOUR credit card company.

Return of goods

Charnwood Healthcare Ltd prides itself in both the quality and efficacy of its' products. It is unlikely that you will be disappointed with any purchase from us but in that event we will accept the return of any item without quibble. Should you wish to return goods, please contact us and advise us of the problem. We will issue a returns number to be quoted with the documents you enclose when returning the goods. Goods must be returned carriage paid by yourselves and your carrier must obtain a signature from us for its receipt. On receipt of the returned goods in good condition a full credit will be issued.
